  1. What is the Coursera Partner Consortium?
    The Coursera Partner Consortium is a content-sharing initiative that makes it possible for Coursera partners (i.e., universities and non-profit industry partners that author content hosted on the Coursera platform) participating in the Consortium Programme to share open content with other participating partners.

  2. What content is available to NUS learners from participating partners in the Partner Consortium?
    The catalogue of courses is now restricted to all open content from participating partners on the Coursera Platform made available for NUS. 
    Professional Certificate, University Certificate, MasterTrack™, and Degree content from Consortium Partners will not be included. Please note that the list of participating partners may change over time, which can affect the content that is available. 

  3. Do I have to pay for these Coursera courses and Specializations offered as part of the Coursera Partner Consortium programme?
    No. Access to these courses and Specializations is free and sponsored by NUS.

  4. Is there a limit to the number of courses I can take?
    No. You can take as many courses as you wish at your own pace.

  5. Will I earn Units when I complete a course from a participating partner?
    No. These courses and Specializations are offered as non-credit learning opportunities. You will earn certificates for completing the course but no Units will be awarded.

  6. Will I be reimbursed if I paid for a course?
    No. Only enrol in courses that have indicated "Sponsored by National University of Singapore".

  7. I was asked to pay for a course and was only offered a 7 days Free trial!
    It could be due to one of the following reasons:
    1. You are on a different program (the default My Coursera), instead of NUS Learning Program.
      Please click the toggle button on the top left corner. Toggle to NUS Learning program. If it says “My Coursera” it means you are on the non-enterprise platform. It should show a small NUS logo. 
    2. These courses might have been offered by organizations not part of the Coursera Partner Consortium.

  8. I already have a Coursera account with a non-NUS email address. Can I access the courses and Specializations from participating partners using my non-NUS email address?
    No. Only NUS email address will be accepted for enrollment into the NUS Learning Program. When you create a Coursera account using NUS email address, it will ask if you want to include your existing personal account.

  9. I am not sure how to use the Coursera platform. Where can I find help?
    You can refer to this Coursera Guide. If you need assistance with Coursera platform, visit Coursera Help Center

  10. I have account issues.
    Examples: Merger of account due to change in NUS-ID or friendly email address.

  11. How can I keep access the course and my certificates after I've and don’t have access to my university email?
    Please download and share your certificates. We encourage you to add your personal email addresses to your account so that you can continue accessing your certificates after you graduate.
    The courses that you are enrolled in will then be as a audit learners.

  12. What is the organization ID for NUS in Coursera?
    nus.edu.sg

  13. I have problems signing in via SSO
    Try using clear cache, open using another web browser, open a new tab in incognito/private browsing mode.

    If it still failfails, some users may be able to login with email and Coursera password, instead of login with organization.
    You can do a reset at https://www.coursera.org/reset with your NUS email address.
    Note: Do not use/provide the same password that you are using with NUS sign in.
