IE2141 is precluded from Residential College 4 Junior Seminars (UTC1702x). Effective from the AY2019/20 cohort onwards, students who have read a RC4 Junior Seminar (UTC1702x) will be exempted from the IE2141 graduation requirement. You will be required to take an additional 4 MCs of UEM in place of IE2141 to meet the minimum number of MCs required for graduation.

With effect from AY2022/2023 Semester 1, ES2631 Critique and Communication of Thinking and Design has replaced ES1531 / ES2531 Critical Thinking and Writing.

With effect from AY2022/23 Semester 2, EG2501 Liveable Cities has been accepted into the list of modules courses approved under the General Education pillars. Non-CDE students from Cohort AY2021/22 onwards may read EG2501 Liveable Cities to fulfil the General Education Singapore Studies pillar. CDE students from Cohorts AY2021/22 and AY2022/23 are to read EG2501 Liveable Cities to fulfil the Sustainable Futures pillar, and a GESS-coded module course (or equivalent, for RVRC, NUSC, USP) to fulfil the Singapore Studies pillar. Double-counting is not allowed between two pillars of the Common Curriculum.
