  1. You have to first create a folder in Videos/Panopto, click on Add folder, enter a name e.g. Video for specific student




  2. After the folder is created, you need to click into the folder e.g. Video for specific student, click on the Folder settings of "Video for specific student"




  3. In the Folder Settings, go to the Share section, click on the Change option as shown below.
    As explained below
    a) Creator group are the access given to Staff, Support Staff, Coordinators, etc.....
    b) Viewer group are the access given to Students and Guest.




  4. Upon clicking on Change option indicated in Step 3, you will see the prompt below. click on "Stop Inheriting" and the option to "Keep 2 members as added users" should remain checked.



  5. After you have done Step 4, you will see that you have the ability to remove the Creator or Viewer groups from the folder.
    Proceed to remove Viewer Group which will prevent all your students and guests from accessing the videos for this folder e.g. Video for specific student as shown below.




  6. After removing the Viewer Group, click on Save to update the change.




  7. To allow the specific student to view, under Add people and groups, proceed to enter the student id, e.g. e0XXXXXXX
    Once entered, the student name and various domain under his name will appear, please only use unified\e0XXXXXXX by selecting it.




  8. Once select you will see the Student's name appearing and the role is Viewer as shown below, click on Save to update the change.
    Note: If you have more than one student or a list of students that you want to be able to access this folder, please repeat Step 7 and Step 8.




  9. Once the Folder is setup, you can proceed to copy or move the videos to this folder for the student to view, https://wikiwikinus.nus.edu.sgatlassian.net/wiki/x/nQj_GIi0UAg
