Mathematics bridging modulecourse: MA1301
Students who do not meet the following criteria will need to read the Mathematics bridging modulecourse, before you can start reading the required Mathematics modulescourses.
- Passed A-level H2 Mathematics or IB HL Mathematics or NUSHS Major in Mathematics
- Sat for and passed the MA1301 Proficiency Test
- Polytechnic diploma holders with recognised Diploma+ certificates in Mathematics

Reading the module course as an iBLOC (for returning full-time National Service men) For students who have a place reserved for you in NUS, you may clear this requirement by reading MA1301X in the months before you matriculate in NUS. This is catered to students who wish to have a head start in university education and more time to transit to academic life. More information about the registration schedule and fees are available on the iBLOC website. Reading the module course in your first semester LECTURE will be pre-allocated to you by the Department of Mathematics, for pre-identified students who do not meet the above criteria. For polytechnic diploma holders with the necessary certifications, please submit your exemption request HERE If you have not been pre-allocated, please register for it in ModRegin CourseReg Select Modules Courses (from Round 1 onwards). Reading the module course in your second semester LECTURE will be available for selection in ModRegCourseReg. You will need to select and rank from the available timeslots during the Select Modules Courses and Select Tutorials & Labs rounds, and it will be allocated to you based on the priority scoringscore. Reading the module course beyond your first year Please register for the module course in ModReg CourseReg during the Select ModulesCourses rounds (from Round 0 onwards).

Students are exempted from the Qualifying English Test (QET) if you possess the necessary English language qualifications. You may check if you are exempted HERE.
