You may drop the allocated tutorial group directly. Select and rank your preferred tutorial/lab slots in Select Tutorials/Labs; a class will be allocated to you based on the priority scoring.

(Note: For MA15xx & EG1311, only a select set of tutorial groups is open to current undergraduates in Select Tutorials/Labs Round 0, as the remaining groups are reserved for incoming students. All tutorial groups will be available from Select Tutorials/Labs Round 1 onwards.)

Re-declared Engineering major after courses were pre-allocated

For students who only declare your Engineering major when CourseReg Round 1 starts:

  1. Look up your recommended schedule for the new major.
  2. Check if the set of common courses remain the same
  3. Otherwise, drop and resecure the correct set of courses during the CourseReg Select Courses rounds (for GEA1000 and DTK1234, submit an appeal in CourseReg to add or drop)
Late admission

For students who only complete Registration Part 1:

  1. Complete your declaration in Academic Plan Application / Declaration
  2. Look up your recommended schedule for your major.
  3. Secure the correct set of courses during the CourseReg Select Courses rounds (for GEA1000 and DTK1234, submit an appeal in CourseReg to add).

Notes:

1. Workload waiver and other appeal types are available in ModRegCourseReg. Please refer to the relevant category and timelines. Appeals via email will not be entertained if the appeal type is covered in ModRegCourseReg

2. Lectures, tutorials and labs pre-allocated by the Faculty College of Design and Engineering Dean's Office are droppable by the student. However, please consider the impact on your study plan before dropping the module course entirely. Students who wish to defer the module course to another semester will have to submit an appeal in ModReg to request to be allocated. Pre-allocated modules may not be open for selection in ModReg Select Modules. 3. While ModReg rounds are ongoing, pre-allocation of modules is only available during selected timings. Please give at least one working day for processing. should note that priority is usually given to students following the recommended schedule.
