IE2141 is precluded from Residential College 4 Junior Seminars (UTC1702x). Effective from the AY2019/20 cohort onwards, students who have read a RC4 Junior Seminar (UTC1702x) will be exempted from the IE2141 graduation requirement. Non-CDE students from Cohort AY2021/22 onwards may read EG2501/CDE2501 Liveable Cities to fulfil the General Education Singapore Studies pillar.

CDE students from Cohorts AY2021/22 and AY2022/23 onwards are to read EG2501/CDE2501 Liveable Cities to fulfil the Sustainable Futures pillar, and a GESS-coded module course (or equivalent, for RVRC, NUSC, USP) to fulfil the Singapore Studies pillar. Double-counting is not allowed between two pillars of the Common Curriculum.
