Click the (1) folders drop-down list. If your instructor has provided the video submission folder name, search for the folder. Otherwise, (2) navigate to Canvas Courses, look for your course name, and the video assignment folder. By default it will be appended with [assignments] as in the screenshot below, but your instructor may have renamed it. If in doubt, ask your instructor.Image Removed

Click the (1) Upload tab, then (2) drag-and-drop your video on the video submission area. Alternatively, click Choose video or audio files, then navigate to the video on your computer to upload it.Image Removed

Once uploaded, you will see that the video is processing. In the meantime, you can expand and edit the Video Embed Options, if needed.

You can click Insert even if the video has not processed. You and your instructor will be able to view the video once it is processed.Image Removed

You will see your video embedded in the Rich Content Editor. If the video has processed, you can click play to check the video.

You will see a temporary banner message at the top: Assignment successfully submitted. You will also see a submitted message which includes the submission date and time. You can click the Submission details link to view the assignment as submitted to your instructor.
