Canvas provides a few ways for group members to communicate and collaborate:
Use Inbox
You can use Inbox to send messages to your group mates.
Use the Group home page
A more poweful way is to use the Group home page.
Each group has a group homepage, a mini-Canvas where you can communicate and collaborate with your group. Your instructor may access your group, but not members of other groups.
You can access the group homepage via:
- Groups on the left-hand Global Navigation Menu, or
- In your course, via People > Groups > Visit.
