Please follow these steps to determine the reason that you cannot see the course on your Dashboard
Check your courses list
Go to your Courses list (Courses > All courses). Check that the course is listed and whether the course is published.
If the course is listed but not published, please wait for the instructor to publish the course (this is not controlled centrally).
Star the course
Still on your Courses list (Courses > All courses) - if the course is published, but not appearing on your Dashboard, please star the course.
If your course is not listed in the courses list
Your course does not appear immediately after you see it in CourseReg.
First it has to be synced to EduRec, which Canvas then syncs with.
Please check EduRec.
- If you do not see your course, please wait for it to be synced from CourseReg.
- If your course is listed in EduRec, please wait for it be be synced to Canvas, which should be by the next morning.
