If you do not see a Course Site for a course you are teaching on your Dashboard, it may be that you are not listed as the Lecturer for the course in the NUS’ Class Timetabling System (CMIS) from where Canvas draws this information. Course sites are only available two months before the semester begins.
Please contact your CMIS Departmental Contact, and they will be able to update CMIS. Changes made through CMIS will appear the following day in your Canvas sites. (Note: For AY2022/2023, daily syncs only begin on 18 June 2022. Until then, period syncing happens every Tuesday and Thursday)
Sometimes, if your course is part of a multiple-section course site, then you may not see your course site, as it is combined with another Course site.
Finally, if you are the lecturer-on-record in CMIS and still do not see the course, please email Canvas support at itcare@nus.edu.sg and include in your message the course and section you are teaching so that the we can troubleshoot the problem.
