Instructions for Students on using ink2go and submitting video to IVLE Workbin,

SETUP

1. Please ensure you have a computer with a microphone.
2. You can read about ink2go here: http://cit.nus.edu.sg/screen-recording/#ink2go
3. Download the ink2go software:
   1. Win: http://cit.nus.edu.sg/software/ink2go/Ink2Go_Win_Installer.msi
   2. Mac: http://cit.nus.edu.sg/software/ink2go/Ink2Go_Mac_Installer.dmg

1. Read the ink2go help guide:
   1. Win: http://wiki.nus.edu.sg/display/cit/Ink2Go+Windows+User+Guide
   2. Mac: http://wiki.nus.edu.sg/display/cit/Ink2Go+Mac+User+Guide
2. Install ink2go.

RECORDING YOUR PRESENTATION

1. Ready your presentation material.
2. Launch ink2go.
3. Click on the Record icon in the ink2go toolbar.
4. Select a location to save your Presentation Video.
5. Start recording your video Presentation.
6. Click on the Stop icon in the ink2go toolbar to save your Presentation when you are done.

UPLOADING YOUR VIDEOS TO THE INK2GO SERVER

1. Proceed to upload your video to the ink2go server when prompted.
2. You can choose not to upload your video immediately and upload your video later.
   When you are ready:
   1. Launch ink2go
   2. For Win:
      1. Right-click on the ink2go icon in the notification area of your taskbar (bottom right by default)
      2. Select Upload…
   3. For Mac:
      1. At the main menu,  select Ink2go à Upload…
3. A progress bar will indicate your uploading status after you keyed in your particulars and clicked Upload….

RETRIEVING THE URL OF YOUR VIDEOS

1. Login to https://ink2go.nus.edu.sg using your NUSNET ID and PASSWORD.
2. Remember to select NUSSTU as your domain.
3. Click on the View icon of the video you need.
4. Copy (Ctrl+C) the url indicated in the pop-up browser window.
5. Inform your lecturer of the URL via email.
