Academic Integrity for Remote Assessments
Please be aware of and abide by the NUS Code of Student Conduct on Academic, Professional and Personal Integrity for the exams.
Breach of academic integrity or exam rules is an offence under clause 3(l) of the NUS Statute 6, Discipline with Respect to Students which is punishable with disciplinary action under Regulation 10 Discipline with Respect to Students.
For assessments and examinations with Zoom proctoring, you must turn on your video camera, may not use a virtual background, and must comply with security measures instituted.
You should understand the importance of maintaining academic integrity. As such, NUS needs to monitor behaviour during the remote assessments to a high degree of fidelity. To that end, exam proctoring may require that video of you taking the exam and screen recording of your computer activity be captured for this purpose.
