What is the storage limit for uploading files and folders on Canvas?

Every course site in Canvas has a storage limit of 1GB. This only includes Files that you as a teacher upload, and does not include student submissions.

For audio and video files, they are best kept in the Videos/Panopto, as these files occupy large space and can quickly exhaust your course's 1 GB storage allowance. In Videos/Panopto, you can upload an unlimited amount of media content.
