Change course end date

To change the course end date, in your course, click Settings at the bottom of the course navigation sidebar.

Change Participation from Term to Course.

Set the new End date.

  1. You can only change the course end date while the course is open.

  2. After the course closes, the course is in read-only mode for all users in the course.

  3. Please contact Canvas Instructor Help to change the end date if the course has already closed.
