Create an Assignment for each tutorial section
Create an Assignment for each tutorial section
We strongly recommend not to create multiple Assignments, one for each tutorial or tutor, for the same assignment.
This will make managing the Assignments cumbersome. There will also be multiple columns for the same assignment in Gradebook, as one column is automatically created for each Assignment. This will make it difficult to administer and later to upload to IMMS.
The recommended method is to use a single Assignment. Submissions can graded by tutorial section using the view section option in SpeedGrader or the section filter in Gradebook.
You may not have a choice if this is a Turnitin Asssignment. If you need to set differentiated deadlines for various sections, you will need to do this by creating an Assignment for each due date.
