Performance and Usability Upgrades to SpeedGrader issues

Canvas introduced an enhancement to SpeedGrader - Performance and Usability Upgrades to SpeedGrader - aimed at improving SpeedGrader loading speeds, especially in courses with large enrolments.

While it has performed well in terms of loading speed, there are a few issues which occur in specific situations.

If you prefer to revert to the old SpeedGrader, you can do so in your Course > Settings > Feature Options tab. Toggle off Performance and Usability Upgrades to SpeedGrader.

If you prefer to use the enhanced SpeedGrader, but face the issues below, there may also be workarounds which allow you to still benefit from enhanced SpeedGrader without disabling it entirely.

For Turnitin assignments, the Turnitin similarity report cannot be launched via the similarity index in SpeedGrader because it requests for a username and login.

The Turnitin similarity reports are accessible via the Assignment Inbox.

(If the Assignment Inbox is also requesting for username and login, see below.)

Instructors may see the following error when accessing assignment with Turnitin.
