I cannot see a past course in my All Courses list
By default, past courses in NUS are set to be not visible to students after the course end date. Academic courses also have a default course end date, applied across courses in that semester. The end date is usually some time after the examination period.
This is why past courses may not appear to you on your All courses list (Courses > All courses).
For example, the course below has an end date of 13 June 2026 and is set to restrict students from viewing the course after the term end date.
This means that after 13 June 2026, students enrolled in the course no longer see the course in their All courses list and can no longer access the course.
While the course was open, course instructors could change this setting, as well as the course end date.
However, after the course has closed, the course goes into read-only mode. Instructors cannot change the course visibility setting nor the course end date after the end date.
Please ask the instructor of the respective course(s) if they are willing to change this restriction. If they are, provide their authorisation (as an email attachment or PDF) when contacting itcare@nus.edu.sg regarding past course visibility.
