FAQ for GoPro Fusion

  • My camera does not seem to charge/LED light keeps blinking red while charging
Turn off the Fusion and remove the battery to let it cool. Insert the battery back into the Fusion after it has cooled down and charge it.
The LED light should remain red, indicating that charging is in progress.

  • I forgot which microSD card was supposed to be in the SD 1 slot and SD 2 slot!
If a microSD card was reformatted in the SD 1 card slot, it should be placed back into the same SD 1 card slot. The same applies to the microSD card for SD 2 card slot.
This is so that GoPro Fusion will be able to store the captured front and back images in their respective folders on the microSD cards.
If you forget which SD card was in slot 1 or slot 2, just reformat them again in the Fusion camera before starting any capture.

  • Fusion Studio freezes my system while rendering!
Running Fusion Studio requires a capable system. Rendering the high quality footage takes a lot of processing power, and depending on the system, the render times may be higher or lower.
It is also advised to not use the system for anything else while running Fusion Studio to process the renders. Ensure that there is sufficient space on the system to accommodate the newly rendered files.

  • I shot a timelapse, but I only want to select one photo for conversion in Fusion Studio. How do I do this?
Browse to your 100GBACK folder and select the photo you want. (e.g. GPBK0012.JPG).
Browse to your 100GFRONT folder and select the photo with the same number. (e.g. In this case it will be GPFR0012.JPG)
Copy those two photos into a separate folder.
Open Fusion Studio, select Add Media and select that newly created folder.
Fusion Studio will now only import that one photo.

Copy the following corresponding files together with your chosen video file from 100GBACK folder and paste them into a new folder.
    (e.g. in this case, GPBK0012.LRV, GPBK0012.THM, GPBK0012.WAV and GPBK0012.MP4)
Browse to your 100GFRONT folder and select the files with the same number as your chosen video.
    (e.g. GPFR0012.LRV, GPFR0012.THM, GPFR0012.MP4)
Paste these files together with your previously copied files in their folder.
