1.     What is the Coursera Partner Consortium?

The Coursera Partner Consortium is a content-sharing initiative that makes it possible for Coursera partners (i.e., universities and non-profit industry partners that author content hosted on the Coursera platform) participating in the Consortium Programme to share open content with other participating partners.


2.     What content is available to NUS learners from participating partners in the Partner Consortium?

The catalogue of courses is now restricted to all open content from participating partners on the Coursera Platform is available for NUS.  Professional Certificate, University Certificate, MasterTrack™, and Degree content from Consortium Partners will not be included. Please note that the list of participating partners may change over time, which can affect the content that is available. 

 

3.     Do I have to pay for these Coursera courses and Specializations offered as part of the Coursera Partner Consortium programme?

No. Access to these courses and Specializations is free and sponsored by NUS.

 

4.     Is there a limit to the number of courses I can take?

No. You can take as many courses as you wish at your own pace.

 

5.     Will I earn modular credits when I complete a course from a participating partner?

No. These courses and Specializations are offered as non-credit learning opportunities. You will earn certificates for completing the course but no modular credits will be awarded.


6.     Will I be reimbursed if I paid for a course?

No. Only enrol in courses that have indicated :Sponsored by National University of Singapore".

 

7.     I already have a Coursera account with a non-NUS email address. Can I access the courses and Specializations from participating partners using my non-NUS email address?

No. Only NUS email address will be accepted for enrollment into the programme. When you create a Coursera account using NUS email address, it will ask if you want to include your existing personal account.

 

8.     I am not sure how to use the Coursera platform. Where can I find help?

Explore the courses available once you have joined the program. Read on About the Course and the Syllabus, whether it is Project Based, and the Requirements or Pre-requisites.
Check if the course is sponsored by NUS before you enroll in it. The course will guide you through the content and relevant deadlines (if any). Most courses will be video based with supporting learning activities. Some will have a virtual desktop for a follow along instruction. 9.     How can I keep access to my certificate after I graduate and don’t have access to my university email?

After joining this program, we encourage you to add your personal email addresses to your account so that you can continue accessing your certificates after you graduate.
