Tips
- Planning for your service-learning course. Service-learning courses are year-long courses, with workload spread out over a year. Students should thus do forward planning to fit them into their study plan, especially if they wish to be away for a semester or more in overseas studies (SEP, NOC, etc.) or Leave of Absence. For example, students who wish to be away in the 5th semester of study could enrol in the 3rd semester or 6th semester, while students who wish to be away in the 6th semester should preferably enrol in the 4th semester. Students seeking enrolment in the 7th semester have fewer options due to the service obligations of some of these courses extending into the Special Term. Click here for more information.
- Securing a course. Students can select their preferred C&E service-learning course in CourseReg from Round 2 of each semester.
