To get started with Panopto, once the request has been sent, you will received an email with a link to the Panopto Recorder. You may then download and install the Windows or Mac recorder from the Panopto portal.
For Windows Recorder
Step 1) Login to your Panopto web interface
Access via Desktop browser
For NUS staff : https://mediaweb.ap.panopto.com/
Select IVLE from the dropdown and click on Sign in.

Step 2) You can download Panopto for Windows by clicking on the green Create button and choosing "Create" or Download Recorder.
Both options will show a popup that will allow you to download the Panopto for your operating system.
Step 3) Locate PanoptoRecorder.exe that you've downloaded and run the application
Step 4) The installer will self extract and begin the installation.
Step 5) Select a destination folder to install the recorder to. Where you would like your recordings saved, and the URL (without http) of your Panopto server. Click Next.
Step 6) Click Install and the installation will begin.
Step 7) Once Panopto for Windows is installed you will be able to open the software. Login by clicking on the button "Sign in with IVLE".
Step 8) Click on the Sign In if you are on campus or enter your Username and Password and login.
Step 9) This will bring you directly to the Panopto recorder.
