Welcome! This wiki page is meant for undergraduate students enrolled in an undergraduate degree programme in CDE, from Cohort AY2019/20 onwards. Knowing Your Degree Requirements
- View your degree requirements in the NUS Bulletin or your department websites
- View your Advanced Placement Credits (if applicable)
- Check your department recommended schedule / study plan (refer to links on the side)

Accessing ModReg & NUSMods
- Check that you can log into myEduRec and navigate to ModReg. Use your NUSNET ID (e.g. e1234567) instead of your Student Number (e.g. A1234567N) to log in.Look
- Complete the Academic Plan Application & Declaration (APAD) exercise. You can only make one declaration each semester.
- Navigate to ModReg and look up your pre-allocated classes under "View My Classes". Check that they match the modules in your recommended schedule.
- Determine if you need to register for more modules, beyond those that you have been pre-allocated. The usual academic workload is 20 MCs (~5 modules) per semester. In Year 1 Semester 1, you are allowed to take up to 23 MCs.
- Check out the timetable of other modules at NUSMods
- Bookmark important dates in the ModReg schedule, so that you don’t miss any rounds or activities!
Having Questions?
- System issues - go through the ModReg Videos first
- Module-specific issues - check out the Common Appeals for Engineering common modules
- If you still need help, submit your appeal in ModReg (Tip: look up the appeal timelines and appeal types first!)
- For other appeals or enquiries, contact the respective NUS office for assistance
- Download the uNivUS app and declare your health and temperature daily. Those who fail to declare may be disallowed from attending classes on campus.
- NUS is offering a mixture of face-to-face and online classes, in view of safe distancing measures. Check NUSMods to see if the class venue is listed as a classroom/lecture theatre or "E-Learn".
- If you are overseas and wish to appeal to attend classes remotely, please visit the respective module pages for more information.
- Look up the latest NUS circulars on COVID-19 measures HERE
