The Virtual Background feature allows you to display an image or video as your background during a Zoom Meeting.
This feature works best with a green screen and uniform lighting, to allow Zoom to detect the difference between you and your background.
Avoid wearing clothes that is the same color as the virtual background.

Prerequisites

Make sure your computer meets the system requirements for Virtual Background.

 Virtual Background not supported?

If your computer does not support Virtual Background and you do not have a green screen, try:

  1. Indicate I have a green screen (Settings > Background and Filters)
  2. Sit with a plain coloured wall or curtain behind you
  3. Sit where the light is shining on your face
  4. Manually pick the colour of the background if the detected colour is not accurate.

Selecting your Virtual Background

You can either set it up on your Zoom Desktop Client or during your Zoom Meeting.
