CDMS allows course instructors and designated administrators to perform unofficial Canvas course combination as a self-service. Identical to the existing process where the course instructor could decide the parent and child course(s) in any permutations, CDMS too provides this feature out of the box.
CDMS will serve as the new avenue to perform course site combination. Please refer to the relevant guides to perform the course site combination:

From Term 2420, the existing “child course” info from CMS is slated to be deprecated. Example screenshot:
Thus, CDMS will be used exclusively to perform this course site combination task.
