Publish the Canvas course after populating CDMS contents
The Syllabus is made available by default in your Canvas course and there is no need for further publishing. However, you still need to publish your Canvas course to make the Syllabus content visible. When the Canvas course is not published, none of the contents in the course will be published.
The 'published' visibility is especially important during CourseReg.

Important: To ensure that data is up-to-date, please verify that the course proposals in CMS with the applicable effective year and semester are in the 'Published' workflow state.
