Access CDMS as a 'Course Coordinator'

Course Coordinators and other administrator roles do not have ready-access to CDMS.
Scenario 1: I am a teaching faculty and enrolled into a Canvas course as a ‘Course Coordinator'. I somehow cannot access to CDMS even though I am teaching this course. I get an 'Access denied’.
Scenario 2: I am a Course Coordinator but not teaching. I am already enrolled in several Canvas courses but I cannot access to CDMS. I need to access CDMS for the other courses as well. I get an 'Access denied’ error message.

Solution: Except for ‘Teacher’ roles, ‘Course Coordinator’ roles in the Canvas courses do not get automatic access to CDMS. Please request CDMS access - CDMS - Register as designated Course Coordinator / Dept. Admin.
Applicable to Scenario 1: Where possible, please use the CMIS tagging approach to be enrolled as Teacher in the course instead of manually enrolling exclusively as Course Coordinator role.
