If your paper exceeds the file size or page count, try to remove non-text content or submit the paper in plain text.
If those elements are essential, you can try to reduce the file size of the document.
Reduce file size of:
- Microsoft Word on Mac
- Microsoft Word on Windows
- PDFs (using Preview) on MacOS
- PDFs using free online compression tools (use at your own risk)
If you submitted a PDF that was converted/exported from a Word document, it is worth trying to reduce the Word document file size first and/or exporting to PDF at a lower resolution.
