As part of our commitment to accessibility and enhanced learning experiences, CTLT, in collaboration with the Student Accessibility Unit, and the Office of the Provost (Special Projects), will provide complimentary real-time speech-to-text transcription services for select academic courses.

The software used is Otter.ai and the Student Accessibility Unit ( SAU) provides the license. A student assistant will be assigned to you to support you at the teaching venue before the start of your lecture.How students view live transcript during class and after class?
During class, students can view the live link on the Canvas Discussion Page.
After class, the edited transcript will be available on the same Canvas Discussion Page.To find out more, write to us at
