If you do not have a lot of videos and audios to migrate from LumiNUS, it is possible for you to do it yourself.

Note: If video is already in MediaWeb, you can follow the guide on how to copy LumiNUS Multimedia (MediaWeb) videos to your Canvas Videos/Panopto.

1) To migrate non-MediaWeb Multimedia channel, click into the Multimedia channel as shown above, e.g. Videos to Migrate.

2) You should see your videos in the Multimedia channel. If you are the owner/co-owner of your module, you will have access to download this video/audio files. Mouseover the ellipsis (three dots), then click Download.

3) After clicking Download, you will see the download progress.

4) Once done, the downloaded file will be available in the default/chosen download location, likely your Downloads folder.

5) After successfully downloading the file(s), proceed to Canvas → Course → Videos/Panopto.

6) In Videos/Panopto, if you want to upload directly to Videos/Panopto, click Create → Upload media.

7) Alternatively, if you want to upload to a sub-folder e.g. Lecture Videos, you can click the sub-folder before you click Create → Upload media.

7) After clicking Upload media, you will see the popup below.

8) For the screen above, you can

a) Click the video icon above to select the file from your computer, or

b) Go to your Finder/File Explorer and drag and drop the file to this video icon.

9) After selecting the file or dragging and dropping it onto the icon, you see the file being uploaded. Once you see Processing, you can close the upload window.

10) You will see the video processing. Once the video is processed, you will be able to click the video to view it.
