Link to a Files folder from Modules

Canvas does not provide an in-built way to link to Files folders from Modules.

The workaround is to right-click on the folder and copy the link to the folder.

Then use this link to add an external URL as a module item.

  1. As the link to the folder you copy is unique to the course and semester, you may have to repeat this every semester.
  2. Changing the folder name or position within Files breaks the link.
