Students dropped from courses - how do we deal with them?

Students dropped from active Courses

Students who drop the course (for any reason, including changes to student status) will be considered inactive enrolments in the course.

Students dropped from past Courses

There are two types of student leavers in past courses.

• Dropped Students
  • Before Inactive Enrolments implementation ([2220] and prior)
  • After Inactive Enrolments implementation ([2310] onward)
• Graduated

Dropped Students Before Inactive Enrolments

• Dropped students do not appear anymore and their submissions are not accessible to the instructors.

Dropped Students After Inactive Enrolments

• Inactive enrolments implementation for this scenario come into play.

Graduated

• Students will no longer be listed in the course and teachers will not be able to access their submissions.
