Can I prevent participants from seeing each other?

There are two options to prevent participants from seeing each others webcam videos:

Security Button.

Uncheck Start Video to prevent participants from Starting Video.

Only host and co-hosts can start video.




Focus Mode

This is a new feature by Zoom, one of the highly requested features by educators. In Focus Mode, the Host can:

  1. Prevent participants from seeing each other's videos and webcams.
  2. Host and co-host(s) will continue to see participants videos, if camera is turned On.
  3. Participants can see the videos of host and co-hosts.

To enable Focus Mode during the meeting:

Pre-requisites: Only for the host that schedules the meeting and desktop client of 5.7.3 for bot Win/Mac.

Steps:

  1. During the meeting, click on More button.
  2. Click on Start Focus Mode.



  3. Click on Start.
