Attempt to save Assignment but nothing happens

Issue:

If you:

1. imported course content,

2. where Assignments retain dates from a previous semester,

3. when editing the Assignment:

You may find that you cannot save the Assignment and no error message is shown.

Solution:

Open

1. Scroll to Assign Access. Click Manage Assign To.

2. On the right-hand sidebar, review all existing dates. The dates must be set to after the term start date.
   ^{The term start date can be seen in your course settings.}

3. Edit the dates accordingly.
   ^{If your dates are after the term start date, you should not see any warning messages.}

4. Click Apply at the bottom of the popup dialogue.

5. The Assign Access status will now be Pending Changes:

   Open

   

6. Click Save to save the Assignment settings.
