Camera spinning/greyed out - Mac

  1. You will see your camera spinning in Examplify for your ExamID enabled assessment.





  2. Quit Examplify.

  3. Select the Apple icon in the top left corner.

  4. Go to System Preferences.



  5. Go to Security & Privacy
    1. Under the Privacy tab
    2. Go to Camera
    3. Unchecked all apps



  6. Launch Examplify.

  7. Select the ExamID enabled assessment and enter the password. This is to check that Camera is not detected.

  8. Then, go back to Security & Privacy
    1. Under the Privacy tab
    2. Go to Camera
    3. Check Examplify in the Camera



  9. Click Quit & Reopen



  10. Attempt the ExamID enabled assessment and camera should work.
